Brick Book Club: Reading Gary Vee’s Latest Book

If you are in the marketing world, chances are you’ve heard of Gary Vaynerchuk. Here at Brick Media, we are big fans of his knowledge and expertise in the industry. Earlier this year, he released a new book, “Day Trading Attention: How to Actually Build Brand and Sales in the New Social Media World.” We decided to read it as a team and start a weekly book club where we meet and discuss our insights!

Every Wednesday, our team shows up prepared to share our findings from the pages we read the previous week. We have been having fantastic conversations about all we are learning. We are redefining concepts that we use every day and are enjoying the opportunity to grow and learn together.

  • There is no formula for success on social media. Always experiment and try new things to find what works for you and your business
  • When something performs well on social media, it doesn’t end there. Overperforming posts can be boosted, modified and reposted, and provide valuable insights that should shape future content
  • Content should be extremely relevant to your cohorts. It is better to make posts that deeply resonate with a particular audience than general content
