Role Summary
As a Social Media Manager, you’ll play a key role in executing social media content and community engagement for a variety of client accounts. You’ll bring each brand’s voice to life through consistent content creation, posting, and interaction with their audience. You’ll collaborate closely with your internal team and Account Manager to ensure everything stays on track and aligns with client goals. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, and truly passionate about social media.
Important Note: This is THE role at Brick where you have to be 100% obsessed with social media: Platforms, algorithms, content, best practices. All of it. If you don’t truly enjoy being on social media and a creating a high volume of content, you will not enjoy this role. Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms
- Design and edit on-brand graphics and short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) that follow basic design and storytelling principles
- Use tools like Canva, CapCut, and in-app editing tools to produce polished, engaging content
- Write captions, create/select visuals, and provide ideas for both iPhone and professional content
- Post content natively and engage with communities (comments, DMs, mentions, etc.)
- Share timely content to Stories and support coverage of relevant events and updates
- Collaborate with Account Managers to align on goals, direction, and feedback
- Keep content organized and updated using our company-approved platforms/software tools
- Stay up to date on social trends and apply best practices across all platforms
- Coordinate with the Production team, photographers, and videographers for content needs and planning
- Participate in team meetings and attend content shoots as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 2-3 years of experience managing social media for brands (agency experience is a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills; ability to create visually appealing content that adheres to brand guidelines
- Understanding of what makes a Reel/TikTok engaging (hooks, pacing, captions, audio trends, etc.)
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and tone of voice
- Familiarity with platform best practices and what performs well on each
- Confidence using scheduling tools and posting platforms
- A collaborative team player who takes ownership and communicates clearly
- Passion for content, digital marketing, and staying ahead of trends
