Social media posting can become overwhelming if you aren’t using the right tools. Scheduling posts is a major aspect of any social media marketer’s work, and social media scheduling platforms are a very important tool to utilize when managing social media accounts. Having a social media posting schedule saves time, avoids errors, and helps you post more effective content. Here are a few of our favorite social media scheduling platforms:

  1. Buffer

Buffer is a scheduling platform that allows you to plan and publish your content, as well as, analyze the performance of that content. You can schedule posts to share across several platforms and customize them for each network. Buffer allows you to post on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest. This platform also has several different tools within to assist you with content posting!

  1. Later

Later is an all-in-one scheduling platform that includes a visual planner, hashtag tools, personalized insights, user generated content to use, and different metrics to analyze. You can also edit and resize your photos on this platform. Later allows you to post to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and even TikTok!

  1. HootSuite

HootSuite is a social media marketing and management platform that allows you to plan, publish, and analyze your content, as well as, advertise through paid ads. This platform posts across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube. There is also access to several courses to learn new skills from social pros!

  1. AgoraPulse

AgoraPulse allows you to manage all of your social media messages, comments, and reviews in one place, plan and publish content, discover trends, and review insightful analytics. This platform allows you to post on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Our team at Brick has experience with some of these platforms. Jake says, “Later seems a little more geared towards Instagram, so if your business is heavily reliant on Instagram and not other platforms, it may work better for you. AgoraPulse is pretty expensive and the interface, to me, wasn’t as user friendly as Buffer. Their cheapest option is $79 per month”

These are several social media scheduling platforms out there that may work for you! Others include Sked Social, Sprout Social, and Springbot. All of these platforms have free account options or free trials so that you can decide which one works best for you! Upgrading and paying for different plans allows you access to more features. The platforms also have resources available to refresh your knowledge on social media marketing and keep you up to date on trends in your industry!
